This a great product, Glad to have got it. It very easy, basic and simple to use . And it calculates the steps really well.It calculates only the proper steps, rather than the little random ones.Would highly recommend if walk alot or want to encourage more walking into your routine. The clip on the back is easy to use and stays sturdy and stable.
Damo –
Simple to operate, accurate and long battery life. One star off for the clip which could be gripper, it does occasionally get pulled off my waistband but I am a carpenter so I’m probably a bit more physical than most.
Jill B –

Amsterdam short breaker –
Fantastic product – simple and easy to use, accurate and discreet. Brilliant.
Mr D J Wlkinson –
Was using it in tandem with a smart watch that said I’d done nearly double what this little device said. I know what to believe! Great product
Tanza –
It does the job, counting steps well, with no fiddly apps or battery recharging. The lanyard seems a bit flimsy but hasn’t broken yet.
Mr Handsome Bull –
Really pleased with this item. It is very straightforward (even for a tech dinosaur like me!) to use. The steps recorded seem accurate
Dave Palma –
Seems to be working well easy to clip on to my trousers
C. R. Emmett –
I’ve had this new Fitbud for several weeks now and use it daily, in tandem with my original one. Out for my daily walk with old and new step-counters, one in each trouser pocket and compared the results when I got home. I used to believe that the first Fitbud was an accurate measure of my steps but now I find that the two counters can give either slightly different results or very different results by a matter of several hundred steps. Nevertheless, it’s a handy and convenient step-counter but don’t take the results as gospel, it’s more a fairly accurate useful guide to your daily steps. O love it and still recommend it.

Clip doesn’t stay on waistband or pocket too well. Also seems to miss steps compared to Samsung health app.

I wanted a simple pedometer to count steps, nothing more – I’m not interested in heart rate etc and therefore don’t need a smart watch. I chose this one as there is no set up – you literally just pull out the tab – and it has an easy to read screen. You just reset it every morning and put it in your pocket or clip it to your bra strap. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and have found it to be a very good, simple and cheap way to keep a track of my steps!
Amazon Customer –
It’s ready to go once you activate the battery. Compact, neat with clip and lanyard but fits into pockets should you not wish to use the clip/lanyard. Goes into sleep mode when you rest too which is great. Easy to reset with the button at the back at the end of the day. Good value and accuracy is good too.
Rose Rutherford –
Does exactly what I want. Measures and counts my daily steps – clip to my clothing from the moment I get dressed in the morning and wear it until I go to bed and get clear steps done for the day.. Easy to reset by pressing button at back. Compact and small emough to be discreet and clear large screen to be able to read step counter! Would recommend !
Glennis Higgins –
The pedometer is very simple to set up. Then just hang it around your neck and start walking! It accurately records your steps and can be reset each day.

Present for my husband as he walks a lot and his previous step counter was difficult to set. This one did exactly what it says, simple step counter. He has been using it since Christmas and is thrilled with 8t. Works perfectly and was simple to set up.

I have to wear wrist/hand supports so didn’t want to use a Fitbit or anything similar on my wrists but the versatility of this marvellous gismo is perfect for me! I just wanted something to accurately record how many steps I manage each day in an attempt to improve my mobility, so not for any major keep fit regime. Having used loads of the little cheapy pedometers over the years, I’m very pleased with this high quality one! It has a short delay when you do your first 10 steps but this doesn’t mean it records an inaccurate reading because those 10 steps are added once you’ve gone over those 10 steps and the clever gismo recognizes that you are actually walking and not just swinging it about in your hand..It puts itself into sleep mode when you haven’t moved for 3 minutes but soon wakes up once you’ve done those magic 10 steps and your accurate total is displayed and back in action once again. My experience of other cheaper pedometers has been that they had to be clipped on a waistband or belt, (and were ALWAYS falling off!), to be able to record your steps but this marvellous gismo works whether it’s on your waistband, belt, pocket, around your neck, (using the lanyard included), or even in your handbag/shoulder bag! I’ve tested the accuracy by counting my steps over a short distance to see if the pedometer agrees with me and….it always does! So nice to have something that records my steps accurately for once!!! And as an added bonus, it’s completely silent unlike any of my previous pedometers which always had a loud click as they recorded what they thought were my steps lol I can’t comment on how long the battery will last as I’ve only been using this for a week but it looks simple enough to be able to change it.If you want to keep track of your steps in a simple unfussy way and don’t want any faffing about trying to input the distance you think your steps will be, then this is the gadget for you. It’s a good job I don’t have to estimate the distance of my steps because mine vary a great deal depending on how much pain I’m in,I highly recommend this 3DFitBud And It can’t be fooled…..I wanted to make sure it would always be accurate so whilst holding it in my hand I mimicked what I thought would tell it I was actually walking…..but it wasn’t having any of it!

The 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter is the best step counter so far and I have to say my favourite one.So far I have only used it twice and it is great and it is light weight so you forget that you are wearing the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter and I would recommend this to anyone one who is after a new step counter.

My old faithful pedometer finally failed. After having to return a wrist fitness tracker, because it was too big for my wrist, I decided that a plain, simple pedometer had been good enough for all these years, so I narrowed them down to three, then plumped for this one. Since it’s arrival, I’ve worn it every day AND I LOVE IT! There is nothing not to like.It looks so robust and the colour is lovely. Activation is very easy – just remove the sticker from the screen and pull out the battery insulation tab. Mine already showed 10 steps and still didn’t change when I walked around for about 20 steps, so I just pressed the reset button, the screen went to zeros and I was good to go. To test it, I was counting the steps in my head as I was walking around, and going up and down stairs, and I can say it is very accurate. Every time you move, it doesn’t start to count your steps until you have done 10 steps, then adds these to the total. This is to prevent movements that aren’t steps being recorded in the total. When you sit/lie down, the screen knocks itself off, to preserve the battery life. The screen is a great size and so easy to see, even if you are walking or running. If you want to start your step count again the next day, you have to manually reset the pedometer, but that takes a couple of seconds. You can clip the pedometer to your clothes, wear it on the lanyard, (which it included), or pop it in your pocket or bag. The clip is nice and strong and the holder is shaped so that the pedometer won’t work loose when you are walking or running. I could wax lyrical about this all day! So pleased with my purchase. I shall update this review in a few months, with regards to battery life.UPDATE: Since buying my pedometer, I have worn it many times while running in the rain and it is very rainproof. Also, I have tested while sitting in the car, on a fairly bumpy journey, and it didn’t register any steps. It’s just a brilliant little pedometer.

This really nicely designed, feels nice in your hand, well designed detachable click case, nice colour, and does the job! VERY simple to use.It just lacks a pause function. Mine hasn’t been too bad with adding extra steps, will add a few on car journeys etc. This could all be solved with a very simple ‘lock’ function, which allowed you to pause it when doing not walking momentum based activities.
Janet –
I like the simplicity. It is accurate just clip it on and start walking. The clip is strong and clips to the finest material securely.

This product is not over complicated it just counts steps and that is what I wanted. It has a button to zero it each day and only starts recording after 10 steps to make sure you are going walking. If you do more than 10 steps they are added to your total. It is sensitive and works very well I am very pleased with mine.

I bought the 3DFitBud as I had lost my fitbit and was taking part in a month-long step challenge with my gym class. I wasn’t prepared to pay the expense of a fitbit and the 3DFitBud is so affordable. I really like that it is easy to use, no set up involved, it comes with a battery that lasts for 12-months so there is no fuss with charging it each day. (I actually found my fitbit a week into my challenge, but preferred to continue with the 3DFitBud). It comes with a lanyard and a clip – I found this useful as I could even where this discretely clipped to my sock if I was dressing up for a night out. My only small issue is that you do have to remember to reset the step count each day (with a simple click of a button) it doesn’t automatically reset. However, this is only a minor issue and some people may actually prefer this. Overall, I highly recommend the 3DFitBud.
Athlestan –
Accuracy is basic and it depends upon the accuracy of interpretation. Simple maths used for miles or kilometers, that is it.
